emigrants faced as they left their homeland for the promise of a better
life in America. In the Rough:Space Gallery we will be presenting
"Converging Histories" the works of two of the brightest stars in the
contemporary art scene Miroslaw Rogala and Rob Mazurek. As Chicago's
most progressive German organization, it is exciting and energizing to
see the interest and excitement the reopening of our museum has
brought. We are honored that such impressive artists have faith in our
organization and our vision to bring the very best high impact cultural
programming and the very best European talent to our neighborhood and
make the DANK-HAUS German Cultural Center the nexus of German culture
in Chicago.
