Looks like I'm just writing to myself here till Corinna gets back LOL...
So we won, 27-26

It was pretty cool, and there were moments where it was exciting, especially when they jumped up and slammed the ball into the net. Or pushed each other around. Hens got hit in the throat twice and some other guy almost got in a fight. I enjoyed that part

But there was a lot of standing and just, like, walking to the other side of the court, and a lot of mopping off the court cuz it kept getting slippery?! What a very, very strange sport.
And, there were only about 1,000 people there, max

And that's my generous estimate. I am sure the teams were mortified. To make matters even worse, there were like 975 Polish fans decked out in their crazy fan gear, and about 25 German fans. I am not even exaggerating. I saw two German flags waving and one guy in a t-shirt, and I assumed those not in white and red were for D-land. Every time we tried to yell for the Germans the Polish fans started booing. We had nothing on them. For that reason alone I am glad we won, but also just glad because it was fun and the score was close enough that everyone was happy and no one got their car lit on fire. It was definitely disappointing, though.
The other thing that made me go *ugh* was that they gave both teams a trophy, a trophy for WHAT? Well, this is America I guess.
As an amusing side note, I saw some of the players again later on Saturday night at a bar in downtown. (A friend texted me and my friend, and we were like, "We'll be right there!!") They were drinking and being, uh, not so polite. The nice guys (Kraus and Kaufmann) from the reception that we talked to were not there so I can always remember them in an unrealistically good light and not as acting like total divas. However, I can kind of understand since people in the bar were saying inappropriate things to them and at home in Germany these guys are, like, gods. I guess it was an ego check for some, but still.

Corinna hurry back I need your opinions!!
